Scott is a graduate of Mississippi State University's Professional Golf Management program and is entering his fourth season at PCC. He recently served as the First Assistant Professional at Wollaston Golf Club (2018-2020), as well as being the Lead Assistant at Marshfield Country Club for six seasons. Scott and his wife, Pam, reside in Quincy with their son, Evan.
